This policy explains how CyberWall Security, LLC ("CyberWall", "we", "us"), collects and uses information through cyberwallinsights.com (the "Site") and the CyberWall Insights service (the "Service").
Information you give us on the Site
When you fill out a form to start a trial, book a demo or contact us, we collect what you enter: name, company, work email, phone number, company size and your message. We use it only to respond to you and to set up and support your account. We don't sell it.
Information the Site collects automatically
Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers them. We don't use advertising trackers.
Information the Service collects
Our customers (employers) use the Service to understand how work happens on their company computers. On Windows computers where the customer installs our agent, the Service collects:
- Whether the user is active or idle (that input occurred, not which keys)
- The application in the foreground and its window title
- Website names visited in a browser, such as example.com, but not full addresses or page content
- System events such as lock, unlock, sleep and resume
- USB file copy activity, for customer-configured alerts
- Screenshots, only if the customer has enabled the optional add-on
The Service never records keystrokes, the content of email, documents or chats, or screenshots while a screen is locked.
Our role
For data collected by the Service, the customer decides what to monitor and why, and is responsible for giving any required notice to its employees. We process that data on the customer's behalf to provide the Service. Employees with questions about their data should contact their employer first. We'll help our customers respond.
How we use and share information
We use information to provide, secure, support and improve the Service and to bill for it. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as hosting and email delivery), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law. We never sell personal information.
Security
Security is our number one priority. Console sign-in requires multi-factor authentication, each customer's data is kept separate, data travels over encrypted connections, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
Retention
Screenshots are deleted automatically after the period the customer chooses (7, 14 or 30 days). Other Service data is kept while the customer's account is active and deleted on request after cancellation. Form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain our business records.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you've given us through the Site by emailing sales@cyberwallsecurity.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we'll honor valid requests as required.
Children
The Site and Service are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and notify customers of material changes.
